What it does

Why a brush instead of a roller or a gua sha

A jade roller glides over one narrow strip at a time. A gua sha stone needs pressure and technique, and on dry skin it drags. The brush covers a whole cheek in one pass, follows the curve of your jaw and brow bone on its own, and never pulls the skin. You can use it bare, over cream, or on top of finished makeup.

How to use it

1. Start on clean skin, or apply your serum or moisturiser first.
2. Brush outward from the center of the face: nose to ear, chin to ear, brow to hairline. Five to ten light passes on each side.
3. Finish downward along the sides of the neck toward the collarbone. That is the direction fluid drains.
4. Two to five minutes, morning or evening. Keep the pressure light. This is not a scrub.
